Featured Speaker(s):  will review protocols and best practices. A Q&A session will follow the presentation. By registering one agrees to be compliance with NAFTZ policy/guidelines and emailed up to once per sponsor (if applicable).

This session will cover the latest developments and resources. One will be able to:

  • Review role responsibilities, process overview and resources available for U.S. Foreign Trade Zones.

 


SPEAKERS

Rebecca Williams is Managing Director for Rockefeller Group Foreign Trade Zone Services, a division of Rockefeller Group Development Corporation.

For over 25 years, Ms. Williams has assisted companies with the implementation and integration of FTZ operations as well as general import/export compliance strategies.  Advisory services include FTZ feasibility analysis, FTZ designation and production authority, FTZ activation preparation and approval, coordination with Partner Government Agencies (“PGAs”), detailed FTZ software implementation, “go live” and operational support, ongoing compliance advice and training, and daily FTZ administration services.

Ms. Williams is a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of the National Association of Foreign Trade Zones (NAFTZ).  Ms. Williams holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration, is a licensed Customs Broker, a NAFTZ Accredited Zone Specialist (AZS) and a Certified Zone Specialist (CZS).


Bill Anderson, Vice-President, Zone Operations, Copper Hill 

Bill Anderson is Vice President of FTZ Operations for Copper Hill. He brings over 12 years of experience in the FTZ industry, leading operational teams as a third‑party solutions provider for clients across a wide range of industries and operational complexities.

Bill has also consulted on FTZ ICRS implementations and advised current operators on expanding and streamlining FTZ activities. He holds a Bachelor’s of Arts in Finance from Illinois State University, is a Licensed Customs Broker, and is a member of the NAFTZ.

Collect up to 1 CCS/LCB credits and 1 credit towards your Certified Zone Specialist (CZS) or Accredited Zone Specialist (AZS) certification renewal when you attend the LIVE 1-hour webinar event. NOTE regarding CCS/CES/LCB credits - per NEI Policy, attendees should NOT detrimentally rely on the content of the activity for compliance, auditing, or other enforcement purposes based on the NEI's accreditation approval.  

The National Association of Foreign-Trade Zones (NAFTZ) is registered with the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) as a sponsor for continuing education. NCBFAA has final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CCS/LCB credit. Any credit requests must be received immediately following the LIVE event with any requests received after this timeframe subject to NCBFAA review process.   Please note that there are no prerequisites or advance preparations required to attend this seminar.

All individuals must have an NAFTZ membership to receive the NAFTZ member rate, if a substitute is requested, the substitute must have a current NAFTZ membership in order to make such a transfer. If the requested transfer is for a non-member, one would have the option to add an additional membership in order to receive the member rate or pay difference between the paid member and invoiced non-member rate.
